Steven Holcomb
Steve Holcomb began the sport of bobsledding in 1998, and competed in his ninth season as a bobsledder in 2006-07. Holcomb claimed both the two-man and combined World Cup titles after winning ten medals on the 2006-07 tour, five each in two-man and four-man events. Holcomb was ranked second in overall World Cup standings for four-man.

During his first season as a pilot,Holcomb raced in the first half of America’s Cup, reaching the podium on all eight tries, with six victories and two runners-up. Holcomb was a forerunner
in the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games and came back to compete in the 2006 Torino Olympic games. Driving both two-man and four-man sleds in Torino, Holcomb finished sixth in the four-man and 14th in the twoman.

Holcomb attended the University of Utah and is currently enrolled in the computer science program in the University of Phoenix’s online program. Holcomb also served seven years in the Utah National Guard.

Shauna Rohbock
Shauna Rohbock began the sport of bobsledding in 1999 as a brakewoman before moving into the driver’s seat in 2002. Rohbock was named to the 2006 Olympic team and capped off a successful season by winning a silver medal with brakewoman Valerie Fleming. She finished the 2006-2007 season with seven World Cup medals, ranked second overall in World Cup standings. Rohbock graduated from Brigham Young University in 1999 with a major in recreation management.

She was an All-American athlete in track and soccer while attending BYU. Rohbock was a member of the San Diego Spirit of the Women’s United Soccer Association (WUSA) and a member of the Utah National Guard.

Erin Pac
Erin Pac’s superior athletic talent and background brought her to the sport of bobsledding in 2002. Since joining the team, Pac has been recognized along with the U.S. Women’s Bobsled Team by the USOC as the recipient of the Team of the Month award for January 2005. She recently learned to drive during the 2005-06 season and quickly made her World Cup debut as a driver one year later during the 2006-07 season.

Pac received a bachelors of science in rehabilitation and disabilities studies with a concentration in rehabilitation counseling from Springfield College. While attending Springfield, Pac ran track and field.

Mike Kohn
Mike Kohn began the sport of bobsled in 1990 and finished his fifth season as a driver this past season in 2006-07. Kohn was forced to cut his 2006-07 season short due to a strained calf muscle at World Championships, a result of complications from compartment syndrome. He was able to compete in four World Cup stops, finishing twentieth in two-man standings and fifteenth in four-man standings.

During his time as a bobsledder, he has seen two winter Olympic games. In the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, Kohn won a bronze medal with current U.S. head coach Brian Shimer as driver. He was also named to the 2006 Olympic team as an alternate.

Kohn graduated from George Mason University in 1997 with a degree in health, fitness and recreation management.

Stephan Bosch
Competing in his fourth season for the U.S. Bobsled team, Stephan Bosch raced in three World Cup events during the 2006-07 season, finishing twenty-forth in two-man and twenty-first in four-man.

Prior to competing for the U.S., Bosch was a part of the German bobsled team. His experience includes: five-time national champion (1991-93, 1995-96), 34 total medals on Europa Cup, 25 of them gold, and three- time junior world champion in four-man (1992,1995-96) and
Junior World Champion in two-man (1996).

Bosch graduated from college in Germany in 1999 with a degree in hotel management. While attending college, he was a member of the track and field team. Bosch served in the German military’s sports company from 1989-1998.

John Napier
John Napier began the sport of bobsled in 1994, following in the footsteps of his father, Bill Napier, who was a bobsled driver from the 1960s through the 1980s. Napier’s mom, Betsy, also drove bobsleds with her husband, before handing the D-rings over to Napier in the Junior Bobsled Program.

Napier is an engineer in the Army National Guard, recently
recruited in June 2007.
